5th Street Steakhouse

We came here for our anniversary for happy hour, it's truly a great value for a quick bite and a few drinks. We had the calamari, the sliders, and onion rings. The sliders and the onion rings were so good, we really enjoyed those. The bartenders/ servers were really attentive and great all around. The only downside I'd say is that the tables are a little small on the bar side, which is where you sit for happy hour, it makes it hard to get more than a couple things as you can see in the photo. But otherwise, it's not that big of a deal, it's easy to navigate. We started with the old fashioned and had a couple strawberry lemon drops to end our early dinner. As I mentioned, it truly was a great value for the entire thing we only spent around $100 for two people. I highly recommend the happy hour here, you should definitely try it. But keep in mind, it is a smaller bar area, so if you're coming in a big group it might not work out too well but I'm sure the nice servers can help figure it out. I've also been here in the past for work events which they have private rooms for if you're interested for the bigger groups, etc. I had the surf and turf, it was amazing, super flavorful and the veggies were perfect. I don't recall what the other plate was called now but it was also very good, the mashed potatoes were great. We will definitely back for the regular dinner menu in the future.

Attended a private 70th Birthday party in the adjoining building. The staff and dining options were all first class.

Great food and service. Great wine list. Atmosphere is decent. Enjoyed a NY strip, but the cauliflower side is what I’d return for. Make a reservation.

We had a really fantastic lunch here on August 2nd, 2024. My Mother & I were visiting my Sister in Chico, CA. We are from Peoria, IL. My niece also flew in from S/Diego. Lunch was fantastic! The service was exceptional! The food was remarkable! The Staff was in Hawaiian shirts & the ambiance of the place was lovely! We will definitely be back next time we are in Chico! We loved the experience here. We came with our two young children and sat outside. The service was excellent and the food amazing! It's definitely a splurge, but worth it. They even gave us a Happy Anniversary dessert with a card!
